Port Rexton, Puffins 120809
Well we had a great drive up to Port Rexton and managed to find the Puffin spot.
These very colourful birdsare small and fast! The nests are in the tunnels you can see.
I love their Beaks for their shapes and colours that it has.
I also managed to grab this shot fo a guillemot, it looks like it has a small orange fish to feed its young.
After the Puffin colony we headed up to Bonavista and checked out the Lighthouse. Grabbed this eagle while we were there.
Tomorrow we head across the island to Gros Morne. I will be looking for some Moose. I haven't been able to spot any yet, bummer.
