Thursday night at the cross 120906

I was hoping to get Zel his first elk bugling sounds. Last time I was out we found a herd of about 40-50 head, and the time is right for them to stat making noise. Grabbed a shot of this little fellow right away.

Out the Aspen trail, we found this Hornet/wasp nest that is pretty large. 

The wildlife was scarse, but we did see this female Downey.

The colours are definely starting to become more prominent. Her eis a shot of a rain shelter out at the Cross.



The Cross also has some great views of the city.  It would be great to just sit and observe as night descneds on the downtown.

That pretty much wrapped up our evening out. We probably covered 5 or 6 kilometers and got a little execise. It was a great evening out. I believe Zel had a great time.Turbo
