Redtailed Hawk, Pheasants on a Foggy Daze, 120807
We headed over to my brothers for Sunday, as we fly out to Newf on Monday. Promises of nice weather, birds and a boat ride lured us over early. Well as we got closer and closer to
his place, we could just see the fog geting thicker and thicker. Along the highway we did manage a Redtail Hawk.
Close to the house we found these three hen's running on the grass.
We went out for dinner, and on the way back home we spotted this rooster that was herding what looked like 6 or 7 little 'uns!
Here is one of his "charges".
Here is a "pair" of young roosters, one is much more advanced in his development than the other.
The fog made for poor light conditions, but we managed a few shots.
