Eagles- Campbell River. May 20th 2012

while in Campbell River I had the opportunityt o get quite a few Eagle shots and thought that a post dedicated to the fish eating bird was in order.
This unit was feeding the yound in the nest.
It got quite perturbed when the local garbage truck decided to empty some of the nearby large bins. It certainly made its presence known.
Over on the Spit we found another very willing subject. This unit looks like just a shade away from being fully mature.
Found him later on a telephone post, and managed to catch a couple of take off shots.

Next stage:
Full flight.
Eagles are just everywhere around Campbell River.
Everywhere!
I will be doing a follow up post of other Birds and critters we managed to find on our short trip to Vancouver Island.   Have a Great day!
